Redirected in cpanel, is this sufficient for what I am doing?

    Hello everyone,

I did use the search function for research before asking this.

What I am attempting to do is simply redirect a top level domain right to an affiliate program site. I have cpanel and I noticed a section that says manage redirects. It asks for the domain you want redirected and where you want it redirected. So I chose a 301 redirect, and included www. and no www and added the redirect and it works. So, my question is, can I put in my affiliate url as the final destination url(if my affiliate allows this), and will it properly track cookies?

If I can simply use this redirect area in cpanel, and my affiliate will only allow me to redirect from a TLD, how can I cost efficiently send visitors(hopefully redirect them somehow) to different pages at said affiliate program. Say I was selling pet treats, so I'd want to send some to dog, some to cat, bird, hampster, etc.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.
