Redirect URL's in SERPs

    How long will a domain that has become a redirect to a new site stay in the SERPs? I figure that it will slowly drop in position but have no idea.

    New pages that are redirects will appear for a few days then disappear. Im not sure about older domains. A 301 redirect should stick.
