Redirect to sub-directory and SEO

    Does redirecting the home page into the sub-directory affect SEO with Google? How so? What about the other search engines?

    For example: I would like to redirect www.mysite.com to www.mysite.com/community/.

    The site is already existing, and already has multiple inbound links to the community directory.

    if you use 301 redirect, your serp will not be effect from this
