I never thought of this until today. If you have a site on different sub-sections that changes each year and unabel to maintain or update it what woudl you do? I was considering selling it but now I think I can just redirect it to an affiliate url, right? The real question is if I do that; it'll be index. goes to blahaffiliate.com Can I redirect com/hats[.html] to blahaffiliate.com/hats/ Can I redirect com/shoes.[html] to blahaffiliate.com/shoes/ and so on. So, once I send index.html redirecting to main affiliate page is it still possible to do that to the interior pages too or not? i know of iframe but aff links will not be changed or logos. HTML:
Some offers allow deeplinking, but the vast majority of them do not. There are ways to sort of rig it to work anyway, with a little iframing/cookie-stuffing magic, but it's not always reliable. However, in theory, yeah your idea can be done. Commission Junction carries a lot of offers with specific links that go to different subcategories of the merchants' sites. That would probably be the easiest way to go about finding the appropriate deep links.
