Redirect Questions

    Currently updating one of my web site and the entire structure of the site is different now.

    i have combine 2 pages into one page and wanted to know if it's ok to redirect 2 old pages to the one new page.

    Would this be ok with google and yahoo

    Well i guess you should be fine, just update your sitemap and all that and once you feel that the old pages arent useful anymore...just delete them and change the links

    301 redirect is the best way to use on that situation.

    Redirect 301 your old pages to your new page to get old pages strength and traffic as well....:)
