Hello friends, I am presently running a network of blogs with a growing traffic. At this time, I am redirecting all the search engine traffic to the affiliate page. Its been only 2 days but the result doesn't seem to fit my expectations. I wonder if presell page could improve the conversion. In order to sell the products, I have three possibilities: - redirect the search engines traffic directly to the affiliate page - build a presell page which should include the affiliate link and other contents - don't do anything and include sale tools (banners, text links, java, ...) inside each blog. So whats your point of view regarding this ? Regards Thibaut
Hi, you must decide what your role is and the purpose of these sites. Think about what you as a person would respond to. I see my role as a marketer is: to provide 'presold', targeted and action orientated traffic to the mechant's site where they do them 'selling'. The preselling I do is about preparing the person to buy but the actual selling is down to the merchant. I also focus with my keywords ect to attract only those people who looking to take action. If I were you I would focus on what would make you buy these products, then see what would you need to provide on your site that would prepare and motivate the person to buy and what is the specific purpose of your site. That depends on the product, really. You should just use a split tester to test both methods and see which wins.
Thanks for the reply. I guess the keywords used in the search engines requests give a good direction. I will focus on them. Regards Thibaut
