Redirect or Landing Page

I am in the early stages of launching a product, and I have secured my .com domain name. I also got the .net, .us, .org, .mobi and .info. Would I be better off just making these redirect to my .com, or create a landing page with links to my .com, or create a copy of my site on all of these? Any suggestions?

you could use them to target different markets? create separate landing pages that focus on attracting a different type of visitor and then send them all to the same page.

For me, It is good to create different landing pages of you sites then target 1 niche. Because in that way you can dominate your targeted niche...

Yeah, it's better to have many sites than have just one. BUT! You will need to write exclusive content for all of them (you don't want to be banned for duplicate content, right?), you will have to promote each site separately of each other (read: more money) or you'll simply end competing with yourself.

The point to have different websites is good if you have .com, .de, .fr etc domains - this way you can put international versions of your website on each domain. But having such junk as .mobi or .info does not give any significant pluses while still needs your efforts to promote. Ok, if you really have some mobile content to put into .mobi and you do have an idea what to do with all other domains - start building your site empire :) But if you registered all of that just to be sure nobody takes it from you - don't bother, simply park all of these domains to the main one (you can ask your host provider to do that). Anyway, you can put the content on them later when you have time for that. Well... IMHO :)
