Rebuilt my site with drupal and clean urls along with pathauto etc Old urls were something like http://www.animeomnitude.com/?page=content/interviews/johnnybosch/johnnybosch. However now, when someone clicks that from a search engine it goes to my main page rather than http://www.animeomnitude.com/interviews/johnny-bosch-interview What kinda redirect can I set up so /?page=* goes to the most related page to the keywords?
If your old page names were the same e.g. page=content/interviews/johnnybosch/johnnybosch and interviews/johnnybosch/johnnybosch then you could use: RewriteEngine On RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} ^page=content/(.*)$ RewriteRule .* http://atlantichosting.net/%1? [R=301] Code (markup): However in the example they are wildly different therefore you're need to manually redirect each of the old URLs to the new URL, or just wait until the search engines catch up with your changes.
I`m no expert but i think that 301 ( permanently moved ) would do the trick RewriteRule ^page=(.*)$ http://somesite.com/$1 [R=301,L]
