redirect from index.php to "/"

    Hi I need to redirect from index.php to "/". The problem is that I am treating also a number of parameters in index.php
    index.php?p=x redirects to /page-x.html
    index.php?c=number redirects to /Category/
    and so on.
    Please help me. Many thanks.
