Redirect everything from a sub directory

    I'm getting quite a few search engines that are trying to access certain files and images that NO longer exist on my site.

    For eg.

    w ww.website.com/folder_1/sub_folder/file.html

    and

    w ww.website.com/folder_1/sub_folder/img_123.jpg

    So folder_1 no longer is on my server and any the the sub_folders have gone as well along with the images and files.

    Can I do a 301 to work like this....

    IF w ww.website.com/folder_1/*/* the go to another page with the * being a wildcard. i.e. by using wildcards for sub_folders, images and files?
