Ok so I had a website that was used as a re-direct to a fireworks site. I stopped working for the fireworks company and as I owned the re-direct domain decided to use it as a blog. I started by moving the hosting for the site without copying any of the files across to the new hosting. I then installed Word Press and set up a blog on the site. The blog has been live since the middle of May and I recently checked to see if the pages had been cached by Google. The about page of the blog was cached on 11th June and is fine however the index was cached on the 12th June and the cache shows the page that the website used to re-direct to. Have a look for yourself: www.fireworks-mail-order .co.uk Anyone have any idea why this is happening? and how it will affect my site/adsense/links? Thanks DL
I have seen this on other sites too, I think it has somthing to do with the redirects but I am not sure why it would still be showing up now. Maybe you will have better luck from one of the other guys here.
