Redesigning site. How to keep ad placement in mind?

I am about to redesign www.MyChemistrytutor.com

I was wanting some opinions on where I might place ads. As this is a joomla site I need to build it with module positions in mind.

That said, I just recently changed a banner on one of my sites to a 300x250 rectangle in the content and doubled my daily earnings.

 

Try using dark red for your link color instead of blue. Maybe try using the 468 x 60 banner near your header so it seems less empty?

I'd also try to integrate a 250 x 250 ad where your content is (you're allowed 3 ad units, might as well use them all )
