The site has a nice theme but the adsense ads dominate the page, you have more ads than content, it should be the other way around. You should get more content for the site.
We read from left to right...now if your site has ads on the left side of the text...it throws us off. Have more actual pics please? You know what...I think if you had a thumbnail of the listing of the different chickens...it would help us identify which is which.
Thanks for your input. Some good points. The adsense was based on the google adsense help which says the larger ads have a higher clickthrough and the position on the page. Having said that my page views were down yesterday so maybe they are off putting. Maybe a slightly smaller middle adsense block aligned to the right? The homepage could do with more content, there is plenty within the site but I guess that's not good if you don't get off the first page. Also the pictures is a fantastic idea, would really brighten up the page and help people identify their bird's. Now I just need to find a free source of them!
Great idea, going to have a go at doing that now. In fact I have just found a huge resource of free images - almost everything on Wiki seems to be available for free Never realised that!
So much better than the site I viewed yesterday! Now get on those breed pics to make it look colorful asap.
Theme looks good but the thing is that, the page is so simple (telling abt the contents) Can add some more pictures to make the look and feel of the page better.. As a whole page is good, it will be better if necessary changes made for the look and feel... Great man...
You need pictures, pictures and some more pictures. More content would be nice too. Little bland at the moment, but good luck with it
