You must make sure that your redesign does not create dead links in other websites. Do not change the URL of any of your pages. If back links to your site start to drop, so will your ranking.
Also, try and make the redesign as less traumatizing as possible for your users. Think about what they are used to and how they have been using your website so far, and don't make to many changes that will make their life harder.

    Hi,
If you care on the following, the redesigning cannot affect on (SEO) Google Listing of your site.

I think your current site have some rangings in SEO

    1. Give the same file names of old site to the new one
    2. Give the same title to new one
    3. Give the same contents to new one, or optimize the contents with good keewords for fast listing.

I think these are helpful to you,

    thanks

    hi

as long as your content and meta tags are same, the seo ranking will not be much affected.

Yes makes sure no links are changed, keep contens , title meta as same rest should not bother google. If these things are considered new website design or website development should not have much effect on ranking of your webite.
