Of course man. It can drive traffic to your CPA and make cash thsi way but not the opposite.

 

I use do follow social bookmarking sites to get PR juice to help me rank in Google.

Digg users do click on ads I don't know for others but for me Digg traffic is number three top sources of traffic for adsense profit after Google and Yahoo.

I guess it depends on your niche after all. If they are suitable with the crowd of the particular social bookmarking site you will see these sites are profitable.

For revenue any of these sites would be appaling, but they certainly open up doors. There are some that will grant you a free dofollow backlink (i.e. Digg, Mixx, Mister Wong etc) and the important thing is that if your article becomes front page news then people will naturally link to it, which will aid your search engine presence. You just need an absolute gem of an article.

You're right, reddit and digg are not instantly useful for adsense since the clickrate is so low, but then you can get a lot of backlinks if people find your article worthy of being blogged about. And more backlinks will mean visits from non-social bookmarking users, and also increased traffic from search engines users. So reedit is USEFUL for adsense in the middle to long term if you can catch the interest of reddit audience!

 

Agreed with Bohra, If you think clicks then you should use SE traffic.

 

If you get high on Digg or Reddit, this tends to lead to gaining some good backlinks which is great.

 

Organic Traffic comes from search terms, like if an individual searches for "discounted coffee mugs" then he is looking for something to buy, when they reach your site with that keyword and find an advert on someone displaying adsense saying "buy cheap coffee mugs at xxxx.com" then they will click that ad
But if someone comes from reddit where you have written, "found some excellent price on coffee mugs" the visitors come there to read your content and not looking for something to buy

So run your imagination which traffic converts well for adsense

No wonder. Social bookmarking traffic are not that good to adsense. But any one can judge what may be the possible reason? Are there any research or metrics around this area? Do let us know.

I think the reason for people not "clicking", is most people who use social bookmarking sites know what the internet is about, and know about adsense. Internet 'guru's like ourselves rarely click adsense ads haha

The majority of users on Reddit use AdBlock. Therefore, they don't see your ads.
