Reddit a complete waste of time for new site owners

Reddit seems like it should be a viable marketing tool somehow. I thought it was an open source project. I'm curious how involved it would be to set up your own Reddit and market from that perspective. Reddit is already its own kind of brand. Just utilizing the 'brand' should mean something.

Reddit is not so much impressive site work on with.. it does not provide any traffic it just only shows you have currently submitted too many links please try after some in fact when i don't submit on from long time . This is big problem with Reddit..........

 

I helped a friend make some nice money from reddit. He made a new tech blog and wanted some ideas for promotion. So I suggested reddit and what we did was make about 5 high quality articles, post them on reddit, hired an freelancer to vote it up to 20 on each submission and within about an 10 minutes we had 50 ups and 15 downs on our first submission.

He was using an CPA offer which was where you could win an new 22inch Samsung monitor if you entered your email. It was a banner just below each Title and he had some really good conversions.

step1: just save the first few toppers from funny category today.
step2: after 2 or 3 weeks just post that saved stuff into your website and repost in reddit with link from your website! 5 out 10 will bring you good traffic. I have tried so many times.!
