But Hamas was "democratically" elected. So what that they thugged their way into control of Gaza with violence. So what that they are sworn to Israel's destruction. The whole notion of "International law" is rather abstract. Who polices the internation community to ensure they obey this "international law"? Who ensures China, Russia, America, Britain, Israel etc obey it? International law exists only in those countries too weak to defy it.
