Recurring Payments in Australia

We are currently working on a system that will be taking credit cards for a subscription program and are currently looking for the best vendor.

Paypal seemed fine, until the point when we found out that it is only the paypal that the recurring payment can be paid by.

2Checkout doesnt allow more then 1 month free for the subscription and our marketing strategy gives people an option to have a 3 months trial.

So if you could suggest something reliable and not as expensive as worldpay I would really appreciate it.

    thanks

Plimus.com may be situation for your needs.

    http://www.plimus.com/subscription_solutions.html

It allows you to set the initial charge and recursive charge. It also allows you to let you begin charging after x number of days so in your case you can set it to charge after 90 days.

Plimus rates are reasonable for payment processor, higher than Paypal but still good.

What about PayPal's PayFlow? Used to be Verisign Payflow until PayPal bought it.

I'm in the middle of integrating Web Payments Pro (UK) and the version we get is actually Payflow. It allows for recurring payments and I believe you can get an account in AU.
