OK, it may be a little soon. But I'm seeing SERPs increases acroos the board oon my sites that tanked. Not 2 or 3 places as before, but for some keywords as many as 300 places recovered.
Any one else seeing recoveries ?

I'd like to add that I'm by no means back to where I was.
I'm seeing increase taking my site back into anywhere from #40 -> #250. But that is way way better than I was seeing last week. I'm not seeing SERPs in the 700+ range at the moment.

Just did a quick set on one of my keyword sets. Nothing coming back from the old sites that the google mafia whacked, but I just broke into the top 200 for a major keyword. It's been about six months for the site, probably *just* coming out of the sandbox. All my sites seem to remain there till right at the six month mark. As far as sites that were whacked though, nothing seems to be coming back yet.

I am getting some exceptional rankings with Yahoo/MSN though.

You and I must be in the same boat!

Today (and yesterday) I show my page in the 20s, up from the 700s ;)

    NO RECOVERY for "Allins" though.

    LOL :)

I said "same boat" not "life boat"

I'm afraid these results are VERY tenuous as the Allins are still firmly planted in the 700s and 800s!!!!! (not a good sign)

I think that once we see the Allins start to recover, the "fat lady" will be singing in the not too long after that.

I have keywords bouncing in and out - from top 50 to 700's. It is almost a daily crap shoot as to which will be where.

So I am just sitting and watching - knowing this update has about 2 more weeks to go.

Caryl - your reporting is only on one keyword, right? Do you track others?

    gford,

Yes I "track" others in digitalpoints Keyword Tracker. (many have been effected)

The one page I have posted results on has been extensively documented (daily) since April 7, 2004.

Of the sites I track, not many have displayed any such recovery. Some didn't drop until after others. So, I have seen a "wave" effect.

I will mention here an unusual "phenonmenon" I have witnessed in regard to Googles API.

I have noticed when using the Keyword Tracker, that pages caught up in this Event seem to hang up the Keyword Tracker. I often get an error such as "Google Server Error".

YET other pages I monitor on the same account that are returned "n/a" DON'T hang up or return an error.

Anybody else notice this sort of thing with their "Jagger" pages?

    Caryl
