Recovering PSD Help

    Hey guys,

    I spent the last 5 days working on a PSD. Today I took a look at it and changed a few thing to it. Then I saved it and closed out of PSD.

    Right after that, my computer froze and I was forced to shut it off with the button.

    When I try to open up the PSD now, its a black file with red dots at the top.

    Is there any way I can recover this PSD or no.

    I tried system recovery but it did nothing.

    Let me know if you guys have any ideas.

    Search on google for "psd repair tool" and you will find some apps that may help ;)

    I did. Most of the programs are used for people who cannot open their files. My PSD opens up but its black.

    Anything else?

    if you have saved and your file becomes corrupt there is hope.

    photoshop saves the file in a temp file first everytime you make a save. it then copies the temp file to your filename. so you will have a photoshop tempfile somewhere on your hardrive of your last save.
