    Hey

I just did the stuipedest thing ever

I deleted my main websites database and I don't have a backup

Is there a way of getting back the database?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am totally confused right now.

    Thanks

What db are you using? mysql?

How did you delete them? Did you run a drop command?

More than likely you will not be able to recover this data.

Do you host this DB at some host? Mail/call them ASAP and ask if they have any daily backups.

There is no easy way to get your data back otherwise, if you have the actual hard drive you could try some service that recovers data from hard drives, they are probably able to help you if the data is important and youy are willing to pay $$$$$$ for it.

Depends on the file system it's under - if it's windows simply get some free recovery software and undelete it. *nix is more confusing. If you don't have a backup you'll most likely loose it.

There are ways but they are not easy. Sad but true.
