Record Label Website For Sale

Well guys, I have a very unique purchase opportunity for all of you. Last year, I founded a "record label" as I started to distribute my music composition across the internet.

With that being said, I've recently come into a partnership with a mate of mine and we are starting a new venture, so I really have no use for my current set-up anymore. I am wishing to sell my label's website, Myspace account, Soundclick account, and exclusive rights to all of the music compositions currently on the SoundClick account (with the exception of the track "Ain't Doin' So Well", as that was performed by a friend of mine and I wish to keep my name on the production credits).

As far as the compositions go, to give you an idea of how popular these are, the highest ranked composition I had was the "In The Club" song which at one time was ranked 920 out of 291,509 possible songs.

EXTENDEDCLIP.COM is registered at Namecheap and will be a free push to your Namecheap account.

As far as traffic is concerned, it is low due to my lack of promotion, but you could easily increase traffic with a little bit of work. While I won't take the time to take a screenshot of the traffic, the site has received just over 100 unique hits this month. As far as revenue goes, I've racked up just over $2.00 through Bidvertiser since I put the advertisements online last month.

Ownership Of Five Compositions: Fatality, Gangsta Rollin, In The Club, Struggle Within, The Crunk Dunk. You will recieve .FLP source files (to be used with the Fruity Loops 7 program you'll have to acquire on your own) with the exception of the Gangsta Rollin song, which I no longer have a source file for due to a computer crash last year.

You'll also receive the theme that is on the website and I'll throw in an extra .PSD theme I bought a few months ago from here but took the time to get it sliced and coded. I'll also keep the links on NASDAILY.COM (PR4) and JUSTINRUFF.COM (PR3) until June 14 (one month from today).

This site has a lot of money making potential. You could decide to sell the free beats I have listed for cash, which SoundClick has a great sellers interface. You could also add some tutorials, which could generate additional revenue. There are endless ways would could make money off of this if you spend the right time and resources on it.

Now, with all of that out of the way, I will start this auction off at $50. I'll have a BIN up by tomorrow. I also have a reserve in mind, but I'll keep the reserve private for now. I can only accept PayPal, but I have a business account so I can accept a credit card. Buyer will be responsible for PayPal business account tax. I'll tally up the tax when the auction is over and will add that to the winning bid. - Currently checking into if this is against the PayPal TOS. If it is, buyer will not be held liable for tax.

I like the name of the label. I'll check it out when I get home. I have a few ideas in mind.

 

I forgot to mention that to the auction winner I'll also provide a resource of websites that will assist them with beat production, promoting this type of site, and the such.

I'll also provide five .flp files that are incomplete that you can finish up and them give them away or sell them on the website.

 

Isn't it against Paypal TOS to add extra cost to cover their fees?

 

This is truly niche hehe. Nice site. The Crunk Dunk was a nice beat.

But one question, who is/will be using the music ?

 

@nigeps - I'm unaware of that, but it's certainly something I'll check in to if that is the case. Thanks for bringing that up.

@Login - Thanks. Well, I don't know whom exactly are using the free beats as of right now. I have distributed a few of them to some local artists, but they haven't done anything with them. No one has bought the one commercial beat, Fatality, so that one has not been used yet.

 

Updated: The BIN for this site will be $250.

Along with the five incomplete .flp files, I'll also give the winner an additional three .flp files that are completed. These files just need to be exported to the MP3 format (done in Fruity Loops) and uploaded to the SoundClick website.
