Record adsense earnings for me today !

the aim it to try and get over $1 every day then increase your income to $2 daily. adsense isnt easy money we all have to work very hard for the little we make.

 

Here is my advice. I have earned lots of money from AdSense, so it works.

1. Read the Optimisation Advice on the AdSense website.

2. Look at the Google Heatmap to improve your ad placement (in essence move your ads to centrally located above the fold)

3. Use wide ads - the wide rectangle and the leaderboard pay best in most situations.

4. Use AdLinks as well as Ad groups.

5. Blend your ads in with content by matching the Ad background and border colors with the colors on your site.

6. Change the font of your site to match the font in the Ad groups (smaller + Aria or Verdana depending on the ad groupl)

7. If you are putting Ads in the middle of text, indent the ads by up to 50 pixels to make them stand out.

8. Stick to blue for the Title of the ad (it's still the most clickable - I tested it) depending on your site color scheme.

9. Make sure the keyword density of your website text is encouraging ads that are relevant (and interesting) to your visitors.

10. Use channels and/or dynamic generation of Ad code to test your changes

i get around 250 imps a day and make around 14 USD, the key is content rich pages. Well thats whats helped me...

I well remember my very first day on Adsense.

It was the day Adsense was launched and we added it to two sites that were already in the 20k pimps per day bracket. We made $19 in the first hour and just sat there in awe and disbelief checking the stats every 10 minutes.

Back then it seemed like a licence to print money - if only it had stayed that simple lol.

Nice site - like your design. I have only looked at your homepage but I have a few points which should help you:

1. Your ads are nicely blended but on the homepage they are on the edges. You need to move them in towards the center to get more clicks.

2.The skyscraper format gets a poor CTR. Maybe replace both skyscrapers with a single leaderboard under the site logo.

3.The grey color you have on the link title should be replaced by a blue. This should at least double your clicks. Tests I have run on my site have shown blue to have the highest CTR.

4.You need to incorporate a Link Unit somewhere. The wide ones work best - put them somewhere where they look a little like site navigation

5. Your ads are badly targetted for me (in New Zealand). They are showing language courses. Try removing or abbreviating the language text you have on the home page. Run your site through a keyword density analyser and increase the density of keywords that attract ads you think your visitors might be interested in (DVDs, hearing aids?)

6. Test everything as you change it. I see you are using PHP so what you can do is use a random number to serve two different pages 50/50 with different channel IDs in the AdSense part of it. Wait until you have a reasonable number of impressions, then compare the eCPMs of the different channels.

 

LOL I like that, "a licence to print money". I hope my adsense stuff turns into that kind of deal with enough hard work.

If you can not increase enough your revenues with 1 web site - make a lot of them. It works!

 

I broke the 14 dollar / day just before google updated. Now i dont even get 50% of that

 

Congratulations! I remember my first one dollar day, happened two months ago. Then it happened 10 or 12 times since then, I even got a 2 dollar day ^_^

I average around $1/day nowadays. When I first started my daily average (on a monthly basis) kept rising... 0.45, 0.60, 0.75, 0.90. 1.00 and then it fell down to 0.65 and I was very discouraged for a couple of months.

This stuff seems cyclical. Advertising budgets are higher at some periods, users are online more at some periods and major world events keep people away from their computers. Never count on making tomorrow what you are making today... you just never know.

 

you make a good point grokidile - one everyone should remember about ANYTHING.

EVERYTHING runs on a cycle, ups - downs. They will always come - it will always happen. Wether it's the stock market, war, famine, etc. Cycles exist everywhere - try to expect them and be prepaired.

For example - one day google adsense is going to cave - the bottom will fall out and people will be devistated, have a plan for that day.

 

Consider - August is a bad month. Everybody is on vacation!
Keep going!. I bet september will be much better!
