    Hi,

We've purchased our current SSL certificate directly from VeriSign, I'm not sure if this is the best value way to do it.

I'm also looking at another 4 domains to buy a certificate for another suite of ecommerce sites- so 5 in total

Can anybody recommend a SSL certificate provider/ re-seller? Particularly ones which offer volume discounts for multiple urls

    Best,

    M

Well, I suggest you to go for Wildcard SSL certificate to secure your multiple Domains with single SSL. I have searched the most nowadays for cheap SSL certificates, have compared features and price of SSL Certs provider and out of my surprise i found what i was looking for from SSLlogic. And it is really working great.

    Hello there,

Try ServerTastic, they have cheap certs. I have used them many times, without issues.

Is there a difference which SSL provider to choose, or is it only a price difference?
    Is godaddy ssl ok?

Typically there is little difference what SSL provider you choose. The differences might be:

    • Brand recognition
    • Site Seal
    • Malware scanning of your website (VeriSign and GlobalSign)

Please notice that there is different validation levels: domain, organization and extended – where extended triggers the address bar in newer versions of IE to turn green.

There is nothing wrong with a GoDaddy SSL - But a site seal saying secured by GoDaddy does not show “quality" (my personal opinion).

try mycheapssl.com for the best values on VeriSign certificates.

if you have the community website I would recommend QuickSSL Premium http://mycheapssl.com/QuickSSLPremium.html

and if you have ecommerce website, I would recommend http://mycheapssl.com/TrueBusinessIDwithEV.html TrueBusinessIDwithEV with SAN for all your 5 domains if on the same server
