Recommended reading to learn about web marketing?

    Hi all,

    Before I go out and buy Web Marketing for Dummies, can anyone here recommend some books and/or online articles to learn about the following topics?

    1. web marketing (general concepts)
    2. advertising your site on the web (get the word out)
    3. hosting adverts on your site (make some money)

    Any and all suggestions much appreciated. Thanks! :)

    This is a great site, but if I really want to learn I need to do more than just scour thru old threads.

    I want to learn as much as I can without wasting money/time on those "get rich quick" books, so if anyone here has found a book or article that was particularly helpful, please let me know. Thanks again :)
