Quality directories relies on how its owners take their time for improvement. It really takes some serious time to build what we call QUALITY and not just MOUTH that says quality. This might help other directory owners to even improve their directories to really boast of quality. As for now I am reviewing each directory and would take time before achieving an amount of listings. Meanwhile the list are really deserving. Recommended Web Directories Thanks
Thanks for listing... Seems like reminding me what I was prompted to do, but I remember, don't worry And I'll do something more - not so important - but nice
The listed ones deserve their reputation. I remember they all got voted high in the survey I took. So, people know those directories's quality. Missing alivedirectory though? I personally like banless' directory also.
Dargre it really is deserving check it out randomly on categories that are not so popular http://www.linkforever.net/Arts/Writers/ http://www.linkforever.net/Education/ http://www.linkforever.net/Society/Charities/ Not so many directories list on those. @coolsitez I am reviewing directories still and unbiasedly.
Nice post, and I have made some similar listing for directory, the unique directory list and premium directory list, you may consider some directories there
There is some really useful and helpful articles coming up on this Directory Blog not often I bookmark the same site twice or 3 times, but I have bookmarked some really interesting content from :- Dirsensei Web Directory Blog
Hmm, i can use your help and services if you are reviewing directories so i can build up some more reviews for http://www.webdirectoryreviews.com/ , you think you can help out , if not maybe offer some service at some cost?
Because I do like Popotalk's Dirsensei.com just have a look at his SUBMIT PAGE (you can submit if you wish ) Try to browse categories with category selector. Have you seen such cats list? And now select FEATURED link and browse one of extra categories lists. Can you select any TOP-CATEGORY? Think it's nice and useful.
Same of course has LinkForever.net I was just playin' with it. Under Firefox it's little bit different (more styles available).
there are many posts that claim the usability or quality of a directory. but i seem have a hard time understanding fully the standards of which these directories or based upon. could you please be more detailed about the selections you have made?
Popotalk - You recently added a site to my BigGuide directory (I'm flattered!) so I assume you determined it was at least a decent investment in time. It's not yet in the same league as some on your list, but I'm always working on improving it's value for all involved. Someday I hope it'll get "there". Thanks for the list and for saying some things that needed to be said.
I think www.index-it.net and www.linksjuice.com would be two worthy additions. maybe one day DirectoryDump Web Directory will be there too. Glad to see www.avivadirectory.com was added. Can't see why www.alivedirectory.com isn't there and www.bigweblinks.com. How can those two be so easily missed.
I would like to suggest www.alivedirectory.com and www.dirjournal.com. Then I can work hard on my Trincas Web Directory to make it worthy. Thanks.
There are some missing good directories, but as Popo said he is reviewing directory by directory, so I suppose the list will get bigger in the future. Good work. I will work hard to be there someday too. Good work dargre
