Hello Everyone, I am looking for link building activities that each one of us here relies on in order to gain quality backlinks to our websites and yield the desired results. Let us have a comprehensive list of activities that we all do and which of the activities do you highly recommend. Not to forget that the link building scenario has continually evolved and post farmer and panda update are there any chnages that you made to your link building strategies? Let us all benefit from our experiences. As for me, I have been doing forum replies, blog comments, article, PR distribution, bookmarking and the conventional SMO/link building practices. However, its time to tweak the strategy. Therefore, lend a helping hand! Looking for only ethical methods. FYI, for me guest post is working wonders. TIA.
have you tried to do some contextual backlinks from PR 0 and above websites these links are treated with love by Google. These show up in your backlinks count within 3 to 5 days.
Article writing using either links in the body or bio providing contextual links. Aurthority links Back links from websites relevant to your site.
You say these show up in 3-5days. How do you track these? I have backlinks that I know have been indexed in Google, I can search for and see them in Google. I have articles from place like Goarticles and Squidoo lenes, forum postings, and posts to other websites, some a month old. I go into Google Webmaster tools and I see one link from Ezine articles which did show up almost immediately after publishing. I downloaded and tried SEO Spyglass and same result. If a link has been indexed in Google should it not show up in these tools? Some of these articles are actually ranking well and getting traffic and click thrus but don't show up as backlinks. Any ideas?
You should find the high PR backlinks in Google Webmaster Tools, but sometime i have noticed that some links will not show up in google webmaster and there is a difference between Google and Yahoo, so it should come up in SEO Spyglass or by using SEO-quake since the data is from Yahoo, or you can try it with MS rank tracker
