    You might look at nicheserver.com

I am using my own site updownloading.com (a site like rapid***** and mega******)

and although my sites not that big as the mentioned competitors :) I do recieve some nice visitors, around 500-2000 unique visitors a day.

I currently use around 500GB traffic a month and has not experience any lag or downtime.

    Best regards...

I've been with HostGator for a while now (after two unsuccessful previous hostings) and they are great.

Don't go with Aplus.net... They have 24.7 phone support but I might as well ask my grandma... The last time they told me Formmail (matt script) doesn't send email to multiple email adress which it clearly can...

Also they have problems with their server on a day to day basis. Don't be fooled by their gimmick and cheap price... Don't go there!! AVOID APLUS.NET

It's a matter of personal taste. My favorite is bluehost, excellent uptime and even better customer service.

I've had a pretty good experience with Wirenine.

I also hear Cirtex isn't too bad either.
