Recommendations for Traffic Sources?

I am looking for a couple recommendations about increasing traffic... In March so far I have had 160 Page Views generating 20 hops (12.5% hop rate) which have generated 4 sales (20% of hops make a sale)... Now these are great percentage statistics, however my traffic is very targeted, PPC campaigns searching for the specific product. How can I scale traffic up? Article Marketing seems very very hit or miss from reading threads on here for months now. Google Adwords gave me a warning specifically because my landing page was promoting an affiliate product. They basically said I cannot do it unless it is a product of my own. So where can I get more traffic from that is still highly targeted and not a waste of time (generating tons of articles) or money? I realize my percentages may drop from different traffic sources, but I am looking to keep things relatively targeted if possible.

I wouldnt rule article marketing out - just give ezine articles a try, it is arguably the best and if you have never done any you really should experience it for yourself. It may be a little hit and miss but you should be able to tweak your work and get consistent enough traffic from it, beyond that I think you are really looking at getting traffic from natural searches, and this just comes from backlinking from a range of sources over a longer period of time. There is always PPC on other channels such as yahoo and MSN which arn't quite so strict (yet)

Yeah, my 160 Page Views came pretty much strictly from MSN and Yahoo... with adspend of around $18 for the month... so I cannot complain making 4 sales for about $120. I just want to scale up and make more!! LOL. I get a hit every couple of days from a couple of ezine articles I wrote, the odd thing is in the referral stats, it always shows the front page of ezine... so I am thinking this might be one of my yahoo/msn ads and not one of my articles? That particular thing is something that is confusing me a bit. Not sure where the hits are coming from unless ezine referrals always show just ezinearticles.com and don't show the full path?

Yes, thats the case with me too, I can never tell which articles have sent which hits unless i redirect them through different domains and tracking but that is a pain so mostly I don't fully know either :p

@submp3... also when writing articles for ezine, what do you write about? I see people FLOOD it with reviews of particular products... and then spin the articles with slightly different content. However they are always still a review or "scam" report. Is it wise to write about subjects that are "related" to the product but not directly about the product? I would imagine this would get further away from targeting a person looking into buying or researching a particular product. What kind of success is seen from someone who has never heard of the product before and was not planning on spending money before reading the article?
