    Hi there,

I guess the topic title says it all, but I'm trying to find some good store front software for a new project.

I'm aware of CubeCart, but I'd like to find similar products that you've found useful.

    Thanks alot,

You can check with zencart as an alternate option.

I am porting my largest business site to oscommerce. So far, it looks to be quite good and flexible.

I am fond of Wordpress because of its simplicity so I use that with splugins/themes that add ecommerce functionality. There are basically 2 options:

The first one is basically a custom theme with functionality to add products like you add a page. It costs around $55
The second one is a plugin which adds ecommerce funtionality. The free version does not offer the ability to have a grid view of all your products, neither to have more than one picture per product.

Personally I use The Market Theme because it's easier to use. However you'd need to customize the CSS to bring it to your liking while with the ecommerce you need to find a theme you like which is compatible with the plugin.

    Here's a comparison matrix

I've studied both quite a bit so feel free to PM me any queestions regarding suitability for your site
    Hope this helps
