Recommendation for website setup?

I have a real estate investor website. Within the past month I decided to put Adsense ads on it. Because the scope of the people (a month ago) that I was trying to reach was so limited, I was getting about $.78 on an average day from folks clicking on those Adsense ads. Woohoo.... ready to retire. NOT.

Within the past week or so I started to market the site harder and within the past few days I added a bunch of links for free information (anything ranging from free info about VOIP, HDTV, auto care, bankruptcy, insurance, credit repair, etc...) to the bottom of my real estate website. Each of these subjects has anywhere from about 8 pages to 20 or so pages about the particular subject and each individual page has some sort of Adsense ad on it.
I actually have about 50 different subjects that I'm working on with about 32 or so already posted to the site. Well, either through backlinks, a linkwheel, or some article marketing, I've gone from maybe 5 hits a day to 70 or so in a day within the past few days. My $.78 a day jumped up to $2 something, $3 something and yesterday I hit $6+.

    Anyway, I'm looking for recommendations.
    1. Should I keep the site "as is" and write articles, blog, do backlinks, etc... and drive traffic to the home page of my website and/or specific pages on my site (ie VOIP).

    2. Move everything over to a new website where I offer free advice and have each of these subjects under that free advice website... of course keeping Adsense.

    3. Separate out each subject and then have 50 different websites (with Adsense) and promote each of these sites separately. If doing this I would keep the original info on my real estate website until I saw money moving from that site to the other sites. Course on the short term it would cost the money to host all of these sites. ugh. One thought is that I would also start to promote Clickbank products in addition to Adsense on each of these sites.

Any recommendations are very much appreciated. I would like to reach the initial goal of $300 per day online by the end of the year. I have been on the internet since practically day one and used to dial up to bulletin boards before there ever was an internet. Figure it is high time that I start to make money in IM seeing as I'm on the net for about 6 hours a day average.

Oh, if anyone wants to see my ugly site (and it does look ugly after I put all the links at the bottom of the home page), just PM me and I'll send you the URL.

So with what you are doing now, you are able to raise your earnings from 0.78$ to 6$ per day. That's wonderful and keep the same work going. You could define a limit for the number of different topic that you are publishing. And start publishing more articles in the same topic, for sure that improves your traffic from search engines especially Google. Because you have enough time (6 hours per day), you could plan your time well.

Separating your content into 50 sites, i think that is not easy to manage (thats more stress). Find out the hot topic that converts good and add more articles in that topic, it works good and improves your earnings for sure to achieve your income goal. Moreover, learn how to optimize the ads for increased conversion.

MrVen, Yesterday was my best day yet at just over $6. The previous few days have either been ranging between $2+ to $3+. Again, my goal is $300 a day by the end of the year and the links were added only a few days ago to the bottom of my homepage. About all I've been doing is blogging on some high PR sites to this point, I did one linkwheel, and I've written some articles. I'm trying to do as best as I can with the FREE route as I don't have the money to spend on Adwords or anything at the moment.

Ok, to date I have somewhere between 8 to 20 pages per subject but none of these individual web pages have been optimized for SEO and I have not done any bum marketing in regards to long tail keywords. I'll start to publish more articles today and see if I can find a way to increase quality traffic to my site.

I would divide the content into several websites. Very carefully with 301 redirects to avoid losing traffic, because it's easier to market and to index a website dedicated to only one subject.

Earning $300 is a huge challenge...

I think what I'll slowly do is move one subject off into its own site (maybe around say financial, technology, etc..) where I might have 5 subjects to a site but keep it on my main real estate investment site until I see traffic move over to the new site(s). Sounds like this is going to be some work.

I'm low on the click rate today while making $2+ thus far. Yesterday was the best day yet at slightly over $9.
