Can anyone recommend a good web host or know of a general url that lists the pros and cons of different hosts that are out there? I'm with liquidweb.com but feel there could be a better/cheaper one out there. Thanks
I really like Millennium Systems - www.nextmill.net - but if you are looking for the cheapest they aren't it. They do have the best customer support I've ever had - thus I continue to use them for many of my clients.
We have free space over at J.R. Hosting or I'd suggest ICDSoft they are great! 333Mb space, unlimited emails, 5 sub domains, awesome support and more.
ValueWeb offers 1,000 gig monthly bandwidth on their dedicated servers. I use them and have no complaints.
DigitalPoint has the best hosting service I can find. It's free and I just call Shawn whenever I need customer support... ...Although I think there is some sort of stipulation about having to be his bratty little sister in order to receive this level of service .
www.servermatrix.com we have 1.2TB of transfer a month, 2.4ghz celeron, 1 gig of ram. it's normally 79$ without cpanel, but we signed up during a special so 79$ covers everything
I do not think you can do better than Pair Networks. Don't take my word for it, or even theirs (though their sheer numbers are pretty persuasive): Google around for what people have to say about them. To me, one crucial datum has always been that they were the first to offer a PHP cgi wrapper, which they wrote themselves. (That may or may not signify to you, but it's A Good Thing).

my site is with powweb .. they are cheap .. Gives like 5 gb space and 300 gb bandwidht per month .. so thast pretty good i think .. but they do have downtimes .. just be careful before u signup . if u want serious uptime , try dedicated hosting
I think hostgator and Godaddy is also good.. as well if you are looking for some budget hosting try Dreamhost you can find coupon of $97 from internet so for first year you just have to pay $9 for 20GB space and 1Tb bandwith
