Recommend some tools/software

We're looking into buying some PPC management/diagnostic softwre as it's getting difficult to manage a large number of clients we have at the moment. I'm looking for recommendations from people that use it already.

Ideally we're looking for something that will save time as well as helping to maximise the effectiveness of the ads.

Any other recommendations will be welcomed also, I recently discovered that Hitwise in the UK were offering a service where you can see which PPC terms your competitors were bidding on and the traffic that it sends them, anything else as useful as that would be welcomed :)

Give these people a ring http://www.adprecision.net/ - they can automate ads based on feeds apparently. I have yet to sus them out myself but if you do the leg work, I'll be interested to hear the results :)

I use AdWords Editor and Excel - looks strange but you can integrate both with outstanding results as you can integrate both using .cvs formats (direct copy/paste or by file).

Also you can generate AdWords reports in .cvs into your .xls document.

I manage 20 accounts ang I'm getting excellent results with this integration.

I'm skeptical about this: ask your self how much of your profit will rise after you get such data.

I really dont' know what to do with competitors bidding data and I would not wasting my time taking a look in tons of keywords generated by a third part software if I already has the Keyword Tool provided by Google.

I had an online demo this morning, and it looks fantastic. You can tell where your competitors traffic is coming from, not just PPC and natural serach rankings, but also referring sites. So not only can you use it to target the most effective natural and PPC keywords, but you can also target links from the top referring sites and also see which affiliates send the most traffic.

The only drawback is that it's £15-30k pa

MattUK, what's your monthly spend/number of keywords you manage? I know of an excellent company that both develops PPC bid managements tools as well as use those tools in their own business for helping manage client accounts ... thing is it really depends on your spend.

    Cheers

Current monthly spend across all clients monthly is around £5000+ though we're taking on a client next month who's monthly spend is around £7000 so we're looking to automate to save time.

Hitwise is the best analysis service available. I've had a few demo's and got the price down to £10k in the end.

By that time I had so many screenshots I didn't need to buy the product. ;)

Fastimprovement, thanks I'll drop them a call on Monday to ask for a demo. Do you have any idea of the cost of their software?

All I can say is that 'it depends' :( ... they run several types of services based on whether you get them to do the management of the account or you do it yourself, whether you push 'x' revenue through Google compared to 'y' etc ...

... all I can say is that 'everything is negotiable' :)
