    I'd dig in for SIn City as well. Try catching up with The Big Lebowski, Half-Baked and Dazed and Confused if you are a fan of "Weed" movies.

    Okay, I skimmed this thread, but is the guy looking for English Language movies or movies from England (or Great Britain)? Not all, but most of the recommendations are US movies, which may or may not be good, but they aren't particularly English.

    And is a movie made else where, but sourced from an English Author, an English Movie? Jane Austen for instance. Movies produced (if any) outside of GB are still considered English since the original story is so very English?
