Hey Can you recommend me a good TV show that i can watch? what i like is somethink like Doctor Who, game Of Thrones, Vikings etc. Im all out of ideas of what to watch next.
The XFiles is pretty cool if you're looking at something that has a huge season base. Currently on Amazon Prime as well. Star Trek some of the newer ones on Netflix is a really good watch as well.
I don't know if this is available on Netflix or Hulu or whatever, but if you can find it, there is a 13-episode TV show called "The Prisoner" which was filmed in the 1960's or so and it followed a very successful TV show called "Secret Agent" starring Patrick McGoohan. When "Secret Agent" stopped airing, someone went on to film "The Prisoner" as a surreal follow up to Patrick's character's "retirement." I have watched this series many times. I also had the opportunity once to visit Portmeirion in Wales where "The Prisoner" was filmed. Really weird and cool place. You will know what I mean if you are able to find this series somewhere.
I enjoy Project Runway on Bravo channel. It's theme is starting off with 16 clothing designers and they are given designing projects to do and are then judged. Each week one designer is eliminated until only one is left to receive the $100,000 prize along with other gifts and contracts. It always starts off as friendly competition and ends up strictly cut throat and spiteful. Such is human nature when there is money involved, it's good reality t.v.
I too like Game of Thrones and Vikings. There's a very interesting show called Mars that I liked quite a lot. The way they made it is unusual and it had me engaged throughout. I also loved Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, these two are particularly good. The new version of Lost in Space is also pretty good.
The Leftovers is only 3 seasons long, combines elements of sci-fi and fantasy, is based on a unique premise, has a compelling narrative, perfectly cast actors, and a satisfying conclusion. Give it a try. You might also like Spartacus. It's a lot like the Vikings in terms of portraying violence and gore, has decent production value, and is fairly entertaining. It's not Peak TV but you can while away a few hours with relative ease.
Sons of anarchy, Ozark, Stranger things, breaking bad, narcos, westworld. Westworld in particular is very very good, the first few episodes are a bit repetitive but they need to be for you to understand it.
The anime Death Note is really good! People compare it to Dexter a lot and say it’s better. The Last Kingdom, The Witcher, Outlander, and Orphan Black are also good as well.
