Hi guys, Im desperately looking for a decent and cheap hosting company to host my forum on. I will mainly host a vbulletin forum only and maybe a few more simple websites in the future. So I will be looking for a basic plan with good enough bandwidth and low disk space etc.. Which company do you guys recommend? Is godaddy hosting any good?
I believe you need to be more exact now to be able explain everything here. When you know what you are looking for that always helps to recommend you something decent.
What would you like to know? Is ipage hosting any good? as i heard the reviews are good.. its one of my choices
1. iPage Your comments on iPage is the same as mine. They seem to be very popular and reviews seem very good . Also iPgae has a policy of "ANYTIME REFUND GUARANTEE",while most are 30 or 45 days refund policy. 2. Goddady I saw in another thread that they do not have good reviews for Web Hosting. i am a member of anothr forum and people are saying unkind things as well. Also If you Google Godaddy reviews on the net ,reviews are poor. 3. Hostgator I am personally with Hostgator and I do not have any problems, but Hostgator is not my own choice. I am a member of a specific member site and the site uses Hostgator. So Hostgator host all members' web sites. Obviously the site owner think Hostgator is good.
my experience with http://www.hostome.com is very good, to get a immediate response, you can chat online as well to get quick response, hosting price are also good.
Dreamhost also good, host unlimited domain, sub domain, unlimited bandwidth and so on..only at starting price $9.99 per month.
What does cheap means? Cheap hosting is not always a good solutions. You wouldn't like to see your sites down every 10-15 hours, right? So set your priorities at first. I've a hosting account at I-Page and been testing it with a few sites. Actually, I had lots of issues with those guys in the very beginning but it seems they keep improving. So they are a pretty good alternative for a cheap hosting, I believe.
I use iPage as well for mine. I haven't had but one issue and so I logged on with their tech-support which is 24/7 and they fixed it within 10 minutes. I have not experienced any downtime and it's also cheap. My recommendation goes to iPage.
In my opinion, best web hosting companies in 2010 are these ones: iPage, FatCow, InMotion and HostGator. Choose any of these and it should be fine.
