I would like to do some region specific email marketing. This is for a reputable local business, not a spam site. They would need to provide the opt-in list (for a specific region and group of people like homeowners), send it out, and provide tracking (optional) I would provide the message. There are tons of places that will do this, do you have a recommendation that you have actually tried? Just checked with www.verticalresponse.com. They will not provide email addresses. Is this common for sites that are not geared toward spamming? Thanks

Majon emails always show up in my spam box on Gmail. If you are going to use any email marketing company I would use Aweber and YourMailingListProvider. I run a digital marketing company and have had great success with both for both small and large lists and projects.
I'm having the same problems with Majon. They didn't do the work as promised and they won't stop spamming me with emails that I NEVER subscribed to. You can't unsubscribe from them (even if you never subscribed). Sure they have an unsubscribe box at the bottom of their email, but it is for show. If you click it to try to stop the emails, it won't work.

I have used aweber and getresponse before but I still prefer aweber although they cost slightly more. But there are more features in aweber compared to getresponse. Both aweber and getresponse provides tracking for the message you have send out to the opt in list.
