Recommend a good laptop, please

I can't believe you asked for a "good" laptop and then said not macs

Of all the laptops I have owned, I think the Toshiba was the worst by far. I would lean to IBM's laptops if I was going to buy another windows laptop.

 

Personally I have one of these and it ROCKS!

 

I have a portable, too. It doesn't boot properly and weighs alot.

 

I'd definitly go with any of the thinkpad models Most of 'em weigh 4-5 lbs and get 6-7 hours battery life. I hate touch pads (or whatever they're called) so that's one of the reasons I like the thinkpad. They have the little red mouse button thingy in the middle of the keyboard, which once you get used to it, you'll never go back. at least I won't

 

I like HP good vale good price.

 

I don't like toshiba, I had one it crashed quite a bit and they made the reboot discs custom so to get the thing to work again since my boot discs wouldn't load I had to pay 30 bucks for a set of new ones and had to wait like 3 months.

However, i've had a sony vaio those are quite good in my opinion.

 

Is that the same one that doesn't boot properly and weighs a lot? Or were you talking about the mac?

 

Siemens has its own laptops but prefers Dell for their employees.

 

Has anyone experience with Asus laptops?

 

ABout 5 years ago, they were total garbage back then, not sure nowadays. Seems like toshiba and dell are the most popular.

 

Try Sager for a full desktop replacement model. If you're going for slim and trendy, hmmm, Apple.

 

Geez, I already posted 3 times that I am getting a Dell, and I said that I wasn't interested in an Apple

 

Try Sager, it has the same OEM maker as Alienware: Clevo, a taiwanese based hardware maker, something Alienware wouldn;t want its customers to know. Sager is much cheaper than Alienware for the same value.

 

Mac is the best among laptops.

 

I would go with a Mac, then Sony Vaio

 

My recommend is that at first you can choose high power processor, ram, well known company.

 

you can choose Sony Vaio, Asus, Acer Ferarri, Dell,
but don't buy HP, easy heat

 

You can try MSI, its quite good, I am using gaming series (gx623) it has very good cooling system

 

Seriously, buy a Mac. They're worth it!

 

i am using laptop of HP since last 3 years and i have`t got any problem yet.so according to me laptop of HP is best.
