I used AVG in my past, however it had some serious complications with viruses and so, I don't like its' security.

I am now using NOD32 and having no issues so far, great security works great and doesn't occupy many hertz like Kaspersky does.

    Regards,
    Meti

We have found MS Security Essentials to offer the best free protection recently. A good place to start with comparisons is the VB RAP chart: virusbtn.com/vb100/rap-index.xml

Avira - its a light AV that I generally install on older computers, and it runs very well on them.

Kaspersky is really quality, if you want the best in security you can run a lot of programs on VPN. This will allow you to better control the environment, plus malware and other utilities are worthwhile.

I highly recommend Micro soft Security Essentials, and also to use superantispyware with it. I sell superantispyware licenses. $10.00 cheaper then their site.

Using both protects you pretty darn good. And Microsoft security essentials does not slow your computer like Norton, or AVG.
