I'm in the middle of a large sale and I have people wanting to use PayPal as a payment method the amount will be around $3000 - $4000, but I believe if I receive this much via PayPal my account will be locked and the funds frozen for 180 days. My Account as follows.... Seller Reputation: (523) Verified Buyers Account Status: Verified Account Type: AU Premier Account Creation Date: 5 Mar. 2005 PayPal Member For: 3 years 6 months 9 days Don't think I would be considered high risk to PayPal but I dont know how they work so just want to be sure that my account wont be locked. Has anyone transferred a large amount and not had their account locked?
Well, as long as you have all the necessary documents associated with a sale, you can always use them to dispell any doubts paypal has on you. Just have the Invoices, Shipping Documents, Signed Contracts by both buyer and seller ready when it is called for. In Paypal, use the Paypal Invoice or the Request Money option when receiving money for sales and you should do fine. Do not have the buyer just send you the money using the 'Send Money' option which is basically associated to non-commercial purposes.
I think there wont be any problem and after seeing your reputation at Paypal im sure there wont be anything if paypal would do such things with large transactions think about Ebay Car sellers they sell cars online and accepts lots of money nearly 10 times higher then your amount how they would do it? I would suggest you to carry on. Then too wait for some expireinced members reply.
the best way is payment throught XOOM or Auctionchex this money can pay with Paypal only a flat rate for fee. and you have it on your bank account.
