Say someone was to gain reciprocal links then make the have the No Follow attribute.. Would google then look at this as a 1 way link ?? Im sure the answer to this is no,, but I thought I would ask you guys anyway
I believe the No Follow attribute specifically means "Do not follow this link" you know? It's kind of like a message to search engines that it doesn't count as a back link.
If you set up both links correctly and one adds the nofollow attribute to the link, then it does become a oneway link.
Exactly. But then the other site wouldn't have any reason to keep the "no follow" site's link on his/her website, would they?
No Follow attribute on links will not give benefit a site when it comes to Search Engine but will useful when selling links just for traffic.
However, the keyword text in the "no-follow" link does have an affect even if the robot doesn't follow. I know this has been debated but I was using my name in signatures on blog comments that were no-followed. Yet, my blog was coming up #3 for my name with zero on-page SEO. If there is another explanation, I can't figure it out.
Your backlink would be considered a one way link, but it would be an extremely unethical thing to make a backlink no follow when you trade links with someone. If the person becomes aware of what you have done they will probably remove your link.
This will be worthless whose getting nofollow links... BTW, i dun't think it will be considered as reciprocal linking because nofollow link not going to count any how...
