I know tools that count back links but not that see the authenticate links partner. hope there may be some tool for this also.

There is reciprocal manager but you have to install it on server before starting links xchange

Did I get it right, are you simply looking for a tool that checks the existence of a link back to you, on your partner's site?

If you just need to check if another site links back to you, you can write a script to do that :) Or there are free online tools for the purpose, like this one:

    tools.seobook.com/general/link-check/

One problem with reciprocal link check tools is that they do not check for black-hat SEO tricks. Example: you partner could prevent Google from indexing his/her links page at all, by means of a line in a Robots.txt file. Or a rel="nofollow". Or a links page could be unreachable from the homepage.

Worse, if your partner is using these nasty tricks, and you're linking to her, not only will a link from her site not help you at all, you can also get penalized by linking to a "bad neighborhood". So keep this in mind and check your links periodically.

Personally, I use LinkAssistant for serious link building tasks, but it probably does a lot more than you need.

But, it does check for "dirty SEO tricks", and it's the only tool I know that does. It's not free, though.

2 ALL: If anybody knows a free tool that does the job, tell me about it.

    Cheers,
    Warkot
