I have heard from a fellow guy in seo that having a reciprocal link page is bad because it gives away your link juice. Today I read that it is good to have a resource page with reciprocal links.

I think it is good because the page that has all the links I really dont care if it ranks. I know its not as good as a one way back link.

    What everyones opinion on that?

Some of my most successful clients use reciprocal linking. The key is quality control. The sites linked to have to be relevant and of good quality. Hope this helps.

Reciprocal can help a bit but not that much. And, make sure to get on with relevant links only for reciprocal. :)

Not a big fan of reciprocal links page with hundreds of links. I don't think it yields great results. I'd rather get a sitewide link on related blogs and/or anchored links in posts from related blogs. Yes, it'll take more time to build up blogroll links but they are well worth it.
