What does reciprocal link mean? For my site http://www.freenepalisongs.com how and what can I do to increase links so that it ranks higher in search engines? Is links the only way out to optimize the site for search engines?
Reciprocal links means to link the website from where you want a link to your website. It is a two way linking process. It is not favorable from SEO perspective, hence you should make sure you have quality content that can be instantly shared through social media. The search engines like Google tend to penalize the sites that indulge in 2way(reciprocal) & 3way link schemes.
hi basically its rite that by building the links one can gain high PR, but Reciprocal link is the one think which is not liked by the search engines , so better to not use it, rather then reciprocal links try to focus on content , be orignal present well then you surely get the traffic ...and more traffic means good PR
Hi, Reciprocal links means link exchange. you give me backlink and i pay you backlink. Now a day search engine algorithms are not given much impotent to reciprocal link exchange. instead of reciprocal link exchange one way link in high pr sites are more beneficial. so I strongly recommended that you can do one way link submission.
You can build back links for your website from different sources like article submissions, directory submissions, press release, forum posting, blog commenting, blog posting etc.
Reciprocal links can also help to increase traffic to your web site in two ways.Means websites that exchange reciprocal and swap links with other sites.
It really helps in backlinking,we can create links to our site from other sites and vice -verse as well.
Choose your reciprocal links wisely. Connect only to websites that contain related information that readers will enjoy. Spend your time cultivating valuable information on your site, and then tell everyone you can! If you end up having more non-reciprocal links than reciprocal links, search engines will rate your site much higher than those that don't.
When web sites link to each other, either directly or indirectly through a number of different pages, a search engine might consider those links to be reciprocal links. If you’re familiar with some of the mythology and folklore surrounding search engine optimization, you may have read or heard that reciprocal links are bad, and that search engines don’t like them. The truth is more complicated than that. What about blogs that link to each other on every page in their blog rolls? Or links between sites owned by the same owner that are reasonable, such as a storefront on a different domain, or a blog at a different domain or subdomain associated with a site, or a group of sites from the same company or organization that focus upon different topics? What about sites that cover similar topics or provide complementary goods or services and find that it’s helpful to link to each other for the benefit of their visitors? What do search engines think of resource pages, where sites include pages of links and descriptions to other sites that they think their visitors might find helpful and useful? What happens if some of those sites link back? Does it make a difference if those resource pages include a statement on them that they will list your site on their page in exchange for a reciprocal link back?
Bingo. All of the important factors. Blog commenting, forums and article directories. All you need to be successful in ranking for SERPS.
