reciprocal links?

    how do webmasters feel about providing reciprocal links
    to gain access to a directory?

    typically not a big fan...i have w/ one super-specialized place though.

    Likewise, not a big fan of recip linking just to get into a directory either, although I have done it with mixed results.

    A specialist directory is better than a general directory, though if there's a link to a specialist section, that's cool.

    ...but is anyone else thinking "how many more directories do we need?" :rolleyes:

    Not very good because most of them will be considered link farms down the road, as Lever mentions most of them are just email harvesting operations that will sell email and other data to businesses after you kindly build their database for them.
