Hello there, I have a new website and started to submit it to high ranked free directories. So the question is whether I should submit my site through reciprocal links or not. I put all these directories links on one page in my site, will it cause any negative effect on PR or whatever??? Thanks in advance! Vad
normaly most of free direcory link back with nofollow, that doesnt effect ur pagerank reciprocal links are better , create a new page and use it for link back
recip links are not better! one way links are lot better as google doesnt value recip links as much as one way links.
One way link is also penalized because of "Text Selling" and hard to be accepted by any web directories. What is the better ways to promote websites without paying more budgets.
Ok, I created page for reciprocal links and the thing is that yesterday directories could recognise their reciprocal link on my page but today I tried many other directories and they just can't find their links on my page when they are clearly there!!! What is the problem could be?? Thanks Vad
got any proof of that? Say I like an article on another site and I linked it as a great resource for my readership ... can they really give me a penalty for that? Maybe I should add a rel no follow ... but then again I can't really be bothered programming every link. This paid links storm will blow over soon and we'll see the real direction google wants to move in.
I think there will not be problem for ranking update if those text link brokers don't use PR for their standard measurement for the quality of links. They should have their own tools to show how much do those text links cost. And nobody will blame each other. Everybody pay for advertisement and most of them get money from advertisement too.
Reciprocal links will negatively affect your site. You have to get only one way/inbound links which is positive affect your website and will icrease your page rank.
I can't imagine what else will effect phpLD for the case Google PageRank update. In "Submit Site" page, there are obviously sections of "Featured Listings with submission fee", "Regular Listings", and "Reciprocal Link".
