Reciprocal linking with theme related sites work,not with directories until they are giving us llink on a page which has some PR,crawled by google,not more than
50 links present on a single page and two or three steps away from home page

 

This is the whole point and you are right karmadir . The search engines want quality sites that link back from the owners not affiliate links. If you create a page that just has links ,, I delete it. If you have a website of your own they are the ones I keep. And every large site , even this forum started at the beginning , so wanting only the cream of the net is not realistic either. I like giving the smaller sites , like mine , a chance to grow together.
