    Hi

I am a begginer in seo. Need some help from all helpful people.

While submitting my website to directories it is showing, for Reciprocal Links it takes only1-2 days for review. and for Free links it takes 1-2 months for review.

So I have put an html page say linking.html and i have dropped all the links of directories ( the Code : Which shows in the textbox while submitting the site for validation ) in that page. instead of putting all links in homepage itself.

    Directories approve my submission..

Is this the right way im following in submitting my sites to directories and making it to approve faster.

and also is this link exchanging ? or Reciprocal Linking ? ...What is the Difference betweeen these two.

    Please suggest...Thanks in advance

Having a few reciprocal links isn't going to kill you, but I'd advise really for going strictly for one way backlinks.

Look at it in terms of this: The Usability of your website. Sure you can have ten links going out to different sites and that's nice and all, but if they are not relevant to your site, what benefit is that to your end-user? It serves no purpose and you are just wasting their time and yours.

reciprocal lining is like link exchanging but ther not madatory for web directories to approve your site. it is better to use reciprocal links but if you submit to lare number of directories, it will be difficult to place large links on your site.

link for link can get your penalized if you do it too often, and i'd be wary of a site linking back to anyone that pays them - are they nofollowing those links? how is google ranking them for their keywords?

The only reciprocal links that are worth "investing" your website in are the kind that you can put solely on one page that the other website has a sitewide link for your website. Do the other too often and like others have said, you'll end up doing more harm than good.

A few reciprocal links is not bad if they are coming from respectable sites. At the same time, you have to be careful who you link to, you can get banned if your link to a site that is being penalized or banned by Google.

With that being said, it is better to focus on one way backlinks. You can easily create thousands of one way backlinks by submitting articles to article directories....

reciprocal links work. Do a lot of them, but limit them to 50 per page. Just make sure the sites you are linking with are quality sites. And make sure your keywords are in your anchor text.

I know this is not the popular advice, but I have made a lot of money using this as my primary link building strategy.

You are doing reciprocal link exchange. One way link exchange means get a backlink from other website. Reciprocal or 2-way link exchange means getting backlink from the other website & also give a backlink from your website

Focus on oneway link building through engaging content creation. It's important to also focus on link quality and not quantity as you want to avoid spammy link building techniques. Another tip is the location of your link source (country).
