Google is not preferring the reciprocal links now. This link building involves some kind of mutual agreement between the two websites.
Reciprocal link building is consider as two way link building. if you are getting link juice from either side the on the other side you are also transferring the same. It can be useful for the sake of traffic but one way link building will transfer traffic and link juice to your website. One way link building is better option.
I dont think so. I have reciprocal links on my website, I have done for a long time. If I think the website I swap links with will have some benefit to my readers then why not!
It depends on who you get the reciprocal links from. If they are from reliable sources and not from paid sites, then you should be fine, in fact very beneficial. If you start linking from paid sites or from sites that have nothing to do with your site, it will have no effect.
Reciprocal link may be useful to get traffic. But it wont be consider for link building and to increase page rank. Google not considering reciprocal links for seo.
It depends on the site with you are exchanging link basically reciprocal done for getting visitors for your website. If you are doing reciprocal linking to improve page rank and ranking of your website it will take so much time. I will prefer to one way links from quality websites related to niche of your website.
I've read that both reciprocal links are good and bad, I personally chose not to even after a number of requests as I believe any benefit is effectively 'cancelled out'...
Oh jeez it looks like there might be some debate on this subject. I believe, and correct me if I am wrong, that building link exchanges with high quality interent sites is good. Also, I would not want to be associated with a site that is selling their link(just not my thing). I saw someone mention a one way linking... which way is that from another site to yours or from your site to another as being best? Thanks. View attachment 58676
Risky in the sense that Google does not like them and if one site suffers then the other site also faces the consequences. Not good for the health of your site.
As I have come to understand things, I don't think it will hurt to have links on your site that make sense being there and link to credible sites. That being said, I certainly think it would help your SEO to have these links. So my bottom line is doesn't hurt but can Help! Thanks
Reciprocal links are links to other sites dealing with (add your link, add your own) to build link popularity. If you connect to a site that is considered a "bad neighborhood" by the engines, which could negatively affect your site. Be very aware that you connect a. Only link to sites that will help you improve your credibility and sales.
