    Hi Friends,
I am planning to launch a forums based new website and I would like to know which is the best link exchange software or scripts.I would like to embed them into my website,so that people can add links, browse directories etc..i did some reseach and this was the best i could find:

    http://www.skalinks.com/

Have anyone of you used this s/w??And I have one more doubt, when people add links to my website, how to stop spam, and low ranked websites that might lower my website's PR as well..should this be a manual process??

    Please help...would appreciate your help.
    Thanks

that script is really good, but unfortunately his webmaster haven't enough time to put some more plugins there ;) he is just busy to make more other scripts. Well first you should check their features as well they have a forums also.

phpld are one of those whose improving day by day becuase of their easy built plugins.

LinksManager.com works well, but you have to pay a monthly fee.

    Linkmachine.net. One time fee.

Both are fairly customizable and easy to setup.

Link Snitch is a friend's site that tracks your links for free.

    Hope this helps.

If you want a software script that will create a directory that looks like part of your site, sign up for the advanced membership at my site. You need to have 1 sql database, and your host must allow remote access. The entails enabling our IP address in the access hosts area. If your host has the cPanel interface as control panel, you'll be good to go. My site is FREE right now also. I'm trying to build up my directory and it's a good place to find link partners related to your site.

I'm not sure if this is what you are after but I use Linkman and it's free.

    Visitors submit here

    and their links appear here

It is all automated and you receive an email when a link is submitted. There is also a tool with in the admin panel which will allow you to scan all reciprocal links and will let you know whether your reciprocal link has been removed.

    Thanks
